Port O’Connor has long been one of the best kept secrets for anglers. Red Drum, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Flounder, Sheepshead, Sharks, Jack Crevalle and many other species abound in the waters of Matagorda and Espiritu Santu Bays surrounding the area. Our expert guides have been fishing these waters for decades and can put you on the fish.
Day on the Water
A typical day of fishing will include your group being picked up at our private dock at 6:00 AM and fishing until noon, but we will gladly adjust the schedule to suit your needs. Boats are 26’ center console bay boats which hold three anglers plus the guide and can run super shallow to get to those back-bay hot spots. Flounder gigging and offshore fishing day trips are also offered for an additional fee and require a minimum of 30 days’ notice prior to your scheduled trip.
